At Nocturne Essence, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our luxury fragrance products. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines our guidelines for returns, exchanges, and refunds, designed to uphold the quality and integrity of our brand while providing fair and transparent service to our valued customers.

1. Return Eligibility & Timeframe

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery date (international orders: 45 days).
  • Products must be unused, in their original luxury packaging, and with all seals intact (fragrance bottles unopened).
  • Return requests must include the original order number and proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt).
  • Personalized or custom fragrance products are non-returnable (except in cases of manufacturing defects).

*Due to hygiene and quality standards, opened or used fragrance products cannot be accepted for return unless defective.

2. Return Process

  1. Contact our luxury customer service team at nocturneessence@outlook.com with your order number, reason for return, and photographs (if applicable).
  2. Our team will review your request and issue a Return Authorization (RA) number within 2 business days (approved requests only).
  3. Package your items securely in the original packaging, include the RA number on the outside of the shipping box, and ship to our returns center:

  4. You are responsible for return shipping costs (except for defective or incorrect items, where we will provide a prepaid shipping label).
  5. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

3. Refund Guidelines

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days), we will process your refund according to the following guidelines:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
  • Processing time for refunds: 5-7 business days (additional time may apply for international payments).
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable (except for defective or incorrect items).
  • For orders with free shipping (over $150), a $12.95 shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount for non-defective returns.
  • Refunds for defective items include full product price + original shipping cost + return shipping cost (with proof of shipping receipt).

4. Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for eligible products in the following scenarios:

  • Exchange for a different fragrance (same or higher value) – difference in price will be charged/credited accordingly.
  • Exchange for a replacement of defective or damaged items (same product, no additional cost).
  • Exchange for incorrect items shipped (we will cover all shipping costs for the exchange).

Exchanges are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your returned item, and replacement items are shipped via standard shipping (free of charge for eligible exchanges).

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange (except in cases of manufacturing defects):

  • Opened or used fragrance products (due to hygiene standards).
  • Personalized/custom engraved fragrance bottles or gift sets.
  • Limited edition or seasonal products marked as "Final Sale".
  • Sample sets or travel-sized fragrances (valued under $25).
  • Gift cards (non-refundable and non-exchangeable).

6. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the product and packaging.
  • We will provide a prepaid shipping label for return of the defective item.
  • Options: Full refund, replacement product (shipped priority), or exchange for a different product (no additional cost).
  • We cover all shipping costs for defective/damaged/incorrect items (domestic and international).

7. International Returns

For international orders:

  • Return requests must be submitted within 45 days of delivery.
  • Customer is responsible for international shipping costs and any customs/duties fees for returns (except for defective items).
  • Refunds for international orders exclude original international shipping fees (except for defective items).
  • Return processing time for international shipments: 7-10 business days from receipt.
