At Nocturne Essence, we are committed to delivering your luxury fragrance orders with the same care and attention to detail that goes into crafting our products. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery options, timelines, costs, and procedures for international and domestic shipments. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Delivery Areas & Timelines

Domestic Shipping (United States)

  • Standard Shipping: Free on orders over $150 | $12.95 for orders under $150 | Delivery in 3-5 business days
  • Express Shipping: $24.95 | Delivery in 1-2 business days
  • Overnight Shipping: $39.95 | Delivery by next business day (orders placed before 12 PM EST)

International Shipping

We ship to select countries worldwide. Shipping rates and delivery times vary by destination:

  • Canada: $29.95 | Delivery in 5-7 business days
  • Europe (EU): $45.95 | Delivery in 7-10 business days
  • Rest of World: $59.95 | Delivery in 10-14 business days

*All delivery timelines are estimates and begin once your order has been processed and shipped, not from the time of order placement.

2. Order Processing

  • All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
  • We reserve the right to verify shipping addresses and contact information to prevent fraudulent activity, which may cause slight delays in processing.

3. Shipping Restrictions & Considerations

As a luxury fragrance brand, our products contain liquid formulations that require special handling:

  • All fragrance bottles are packaged in protective, luxury gift boxes to prevent breakage during transit.
  • International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country (these are the responsibility of the recipient).
  • We cannot ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or temporary addresses.
  • We do not ship to countries where our products are not authorized for sale, or where shipping restrictions apply to fragrance products.
  • Temperature-sensitive shipping is available for summer months (US only) at an additional cost of $8.95 to protect fragrances from heat damage.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a unique tracking number and a link to track your package. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active in the carrier's system.

5. Delivery Issues & Returns

Lost or Stolen Packages

Nocturne Essence is not responsible for packages marked as "delivered" by the shipping carrier. If your package is lost or stolen after delivery confirmation, please file a claim directly with the carrier. For packages that are lost in transit (no delivery confirmation), we will issue a replacement or full refund after a 10-business-day investigation period.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or with incorrect items, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs of the damaged packaging and product
  • A detailed description of the issue

We will arrange for a replacement to be shipped at no cost to you, or issue a full refund at your discretion.

6. Order Cancellations & Modifications

We aim to process orders quickly to ensure timely delivery. As such:

  • Orders can be canceled or modified only if requested within 1 hour of placement.
  • Once an order has entered the processing stage (typically within 1-2 hours of placement), cancellations or modifications may not be possible.
  • To request a cancellation or modification, contact us immediately at nocturneessence@outlook.com with your order number.
